Kommune Kommittee Application
Shaping the future of the DIY scene & global moto culture
Join the crew responsible for shaping, diversifying and evolving Kustom Kommune. Help make a positive impact on the lives of our members and the moto community at large.
Over the last decade we’ve learned a heck of a lot and the learning never stops! Kustom Kommune is a Social Enterprise; an idea that became a movement. Profit is invested back into the space and the community, to increase our social impact and push things forward in the right direction. We might be obsessed with old fashioned machines but our attitude and our endeavours are cutting edge.
With your input we’ll be able to keep evolving our tools and equipment, offer reliable mechanical support, keep fees and subscriptions reasonably priced and continue to roll out engaging social events. One big moto family.
Join the Kommittee
We want skilled, enthusiastic people who share our vision and enjoy working with others. Each Kommittee member has a dedicated role, from tech, to workshop management, events, media and volunteers; the Kommune machine consists of many different cogs, each working in unison with the other.
The Kommittee is a perpetual think tank, cultivating and implementing ideas that directly and positively impact Kommune and its members. We aim to respond to feedback with affirmative action and engage the needs of our community as much as we possibly can. Some roles may be diverse and split into multiple parts, while other roles will be linear and driven by a specific skill set and goals. We understand that people live busy lives and might not be able to commit to every meeting or event but that doesn’t have to be a blocker. If your capacity is limited but you’re still keen, you can act as a sort of consultant supporting the core team. What all Kommittee roles have in common, however, is their connection to the following:
-
-
- Improving our space for members
- Growing our membership base
- Influencing how funds are spent
- A commitment to mental health support and forging social connections
- Helping Kommune expand sustainably as our community expands globally
- Creating an inclusive, supportive and efficient space open to everyone
- Decisions around volunteer benefits
- Input with events and our Kommune Social Klub
- Shaping the future of the DIY scene and moto culture at large
