CHEAP THRILLS Moto Swap & Makers Market

Sunshine, motorcycles, hotdogs & cold beer…

Last week’s inaugural CHEAP THRILLS Moto Swap & Makers Market was most certainly a Sunday worth writing home about, so huge thanks to everyone who showed up to sell, swap and support our scene.
We’re confident that these humble beginnings will grow into something of a Sunday institution here on Duke Street and plans are already on the table for a summer version with more focus on vintage and collectable moto parts, more local businesses and artists whose wares resonate with the custom and DIY crowd, in-‘n-out tattooing, a food truck or two and while we’re at it, why not get a band on board to carry us into the evening.

We’re an excitable bunch here at Kustom Kommune and it don’t take much for our super social social klub to get carried away with the next grand plan for a shindig, so here’s to another sun soaked CHEAP THRILLS in a couple months. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your neighbours and even strangers- don’t sleep in, don’t miss out, don’t go getting Moto FOMO!
Shout out to Kommune lifer @Jake Simkin, the man behind the lens capturing our handsome crew, the man whose Harley sits pretty under our neons and the man with a passion for a good jaffle!

CHEAP THRILLS is affiliated with our Kommune Konnections program, supported by the DGR and Movember. If you’re keen to learn more about the work we’re doing with these conscientious cats, check this page.
